My Journey

Originally from the UK, I have built an international career spanning Europe and Asia, with more than 20 years based in Japan. My professional journey has taken me from teaching and training roles in Russia and Thailand to senior leadership positions within the British Council and, more recently, independent consulting and coaching.

Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of learning, leadership, and cross-cultural communication. My experience includes corporate training, executive coaching, university education, programme management, and organisational leadership, supporting audiences ranging from students and early-career professionals to senior executives and government officials.

Today, I work with organisations and educational institutions to develop people, strengthen communication, and create learning experiences that deliver lasting impact.
